Especially pertinent lately. And especially wind type instruments although this current virus can stay viable for sometimes days on hard surfaces.
I have usually used 91% alcohol on my harps, sometimes taking them apart, sometimes not. That's still what I'm doing but I know also that dish soap and water will work too. Of course alcohol dries quicker.
So say with a guitar, horn, or keyboards, I'm wondering what you would do to eliminate the Covid-19 threat?

I usually just wipe off any prints after playing my guitar before putting it back in the case. I don't give it a good going over until I change the strings. And as I never take it outside the house I see no need for any special treatment due to the virus. And if I did make a living with it, it would probably be in some club of some kind( or intimate eatery) which would mean I'm not working now anyway, so still see no worries. Whitefang

Aside from clean hands for guitar there are some cleaners that are good. One has to be careful of the type of finish especially "Nitro" or Nitrocellulose. This article covers cleaning more than disinfecting although some cleaner no doubt would kill or remove germs. It appears that Poly finishes (most guitars) especially with solid color finishes can handle a lot of different cleaners including soap and water. I use Nomad All In One cleaner - polish - wax for quick cleanups and Martin for more detail but not a lot or often with either. Probably alcohol would be fine on most horns and keys but one should check if there is a surface coating and type. Cleaning Your Guitar Without Damage.

Another thing I need to pay attention to is microphones. We have not had our sound gear out for nearly 2 months and I think it's all safe, but in future I think alcohol spray will likely do the trick.

Maybe, but in the off chance you can find some Lysol spray, I'd go with that.

Maybe use those foam type windscreen covers also called wind muffs that can be hand washed. Most music stores will have. Musicians Friend has these online. Keep in mind these are probably all made off shore so wash initially after purchasing and before using. Not sure if these are alcohol resident . Microphone Windscreens

Harp mics are sometimes much bigger than say an SM58. I just plan to keep a spray bottle of alcohol handy from here on out.
