Stopped going to family gatherings back in '17 when my wife was a bedbound stroke survivor. But I realize there are many who have large gatherings of family for this holiday. With the current pandemic situation and suggested to mandatory limits of physical contact to kept distances and gathering sizes I wonder how y'all will get through this year at Easter? My wife's family was always sizable and each holiday(Easter, Christmas, etc.) the problem was more size of the venue. Now it's all changed. At least, fate willing, there'll be plenty to talk about next Easter, when hopefully we can all gather together again. I hope y'all's Easter was good regardless. Whitefang

It's not over yet but here it will be quiet. My fam sometimes got together but generally the big gatherings were other holidays and the family reunion in summer. Since I've been far away for 40 years the ones who can will gather when I'm home. We're pretty spread out now between me wandering, a sis in PA and one in FL, and 3 other sibs closer to the home of our origin.
There has been a service here at this park the past several years and an egg =hunt for the kids after that but other than a small socially distant service not much is going on.

Just here at home as expected. It is a rainy day but still nice viewing in that much outside is growing or blossoming. We just do immediate family but not today, maybe tomorrow or a day this coming week. It is just Mrs, daughter and grandson. Larger family thing is Thanksgiving and Christmas. I'm going to install a different speaker, Jensen Jet Falcon 10, in a Fender Pro Junior III in a bit. I bought this amp a few weeks back and have been tweaking it a bit mainly with new tubes. I watched a Marty Stuart show rerun on RFD TV and he had Sam Moore (Sam & Dave fame)as a guest. What a great voice! I saw Sam live years ago and truly an amazing master vocalist. Stay well guys!

I stuck around for the 1st tune. I'll hafta get back to it when I have more time. My sister in law( my wife's youngest sister) did a cool thing. She fixed enough food for a huge Easter get together, but had no intention of having a big gathering. Instead, she fixed plates for everyone she might have invited and let them know they could come by and pick them up! I offered to chip in some cash to reimburse for the cost and she said forget it. and then added ,"Happy Easter!" with a smile. Whitefang

Typically we hit the candy aisle the day after a holiday to get a deal on marked down candy. Which I got a few items of Peeps and chocolate bunnies.
