I'm beginning to process of looking for venues and gigs here. Lots of joints! There are two actual islands just off the coast that have breweries and restaurants along with all those here along the coast. I count at least 28 that are listed as live music venues. The ones I've talked to so far have all said they do plan music but of course the Crapola19 is the fly in the ointment at this point. I want to be early on my contact so maybe we can get in some doors! The governor here has not yet okayed restaurants to open for occupancy but the hope is it will be soon. The big season here is Memorial Day to Labor Day, a short 3 months. So maybe we will be able to get some work if things go right in the next week or two!
I know we'll be doing some face to face along the way but it would be nice if it was not in masks!

Yeah, I'm waiting for the day when we can go anywhere without looking like bank robbers. And as far as the face mask thing goes.... Did I mention that I feel sorry for the torture those with HALITOSIS are going through? Whitefang

I do not mind the masks, but Arizona is opening stuff up already. My wife went back to work last Thursday at her hair salon, and when her clients heard the Governor announce salons would open that day, she became the most popular gal in this neighborhood, She always uses speaker on her business calls and my goodness, those ladies were gushing all over her in anticipation of the hair cuts, color, and perms. I tried to slow her down a bit, but she loves her clients so today she works from 9:15 to 7:30 PM. Guess who is cooking dinner. Yep you are right. Me.....!

I began work here today, zero turn mower. Wild! Thing is touchy and fast. I avoided killing myself someway. More practice and I think it'll be ok. I had a '67 Mustang with a tricked out small block V8 that pushed well over 350 horsepower that was not as quick off the line as that mower. Real gentle touch required.
I was planning to make some phone calls after work but truth, I was tired. Sore. Maybe manana.
