What's up with Arizonians? All the big rallies aimed at dumping the face mask requirements? Since they've been recommended by health officials as a way to slow down the spread of the covid-19 virus and make others safe from infection, I can't fathom the negative reaction to the masks.
Can you help explain this? Whitefang

I can't explain it Fangster. The people who do not want to wear face masks seem to have no ability to use scientific knowledge, and then use reason, over their emotional belief I suppose. I do not watch the news or TV that much. Country wide I think there are folks like the Flat Earthers who think everything science based is a strategy to keep people in line or some other crap like that. I don't actually know why they think like they do. Those same folks think the moon landings were actually faked. I just stay away from such people as much as possible.
I don't talk to anyone without a face mask. I stay away from them. It is the young people more than the elders protesting masks, I do not see that many seniors without a mask on. So young and dumb is my explanation for the idiots who refuse or protest mask wearing.

I concur with that. Same in a lot of places. My favorite use of illogical thinking is complaining about "constitutional rights". Sure. But the only "constitutional rights" thing that matters to me is the part about "Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." in which you'll notice "Life" comes first! And that "right to peacefully assemble" has nothing to do with tailgating or barbecues. And notice too, most of the recent assemblies haven't been all that peaceful. What also tickles me are those who accuse people who wear masks of being "sheep". While they refuse to wear masks because NOBODY ELSE in their particular group wears them, which only makes THEM another kind of "sheep". Whitefang
