I once for levity, introduced a thread asking how would anyone like to try to restring a sitar. And now I ask the same question concerning the bandura. And too, try to imagine the possibilites of this electric version coupled with a floor panel of stomp boxes or hooked into MIDI or other sound shaping devices....

As a wedding photographer, I once did a wedding for a Ukrainian Orthodox couple. They had a trio of Bandura players perform at the reception, which is where I first heard and heard OF this instrument. But those guys weren't playing electric ones. And the groom's Father also played and did a tune for the people. I talked a bit with the players about it. They were very gracious and informative. Nice bunch of guys. And acoustically, it sounds much the same....
