Enjoyed that one.....Jimmy's B3 did have a good sound/tone. Back when I was a puppy I decided to put down the guitar and wanted to be a organ player. I bought one but it wasn't a Hammond (dagnabit). Jimmy didn't sound if he was using a Leslie with his. I particularly like the sound of a B3, overdriven to the max, and going thru a Leslie. I guess my favorite organist of all time was Mr. Jon Lord. (I know---it ain't bluegrass or country----but even us hillbillies enjoy good rock and roll once in a while)
I found this on the internet recently and I like it. The video is a little long and may be boring to you, but if you can make it to the 8:00 mark, you'll hear that B3 sound that I really love.

sorry to double post......but just found another one by Jon that blew my skirt up. Again, it is a little long.....but dadgum....the boy could "spank" a B3.

Those are great Steven. I've heard or read of some things Jon Lord had on his sound like a distortion overdrive type pedal he would kick in here and there. Another early one was cracked Leslie horn creating an effect. Who knows? .....Great sounds and playing.

thanks for the correction on the organ type.......It sounded like a B3....hehe
I agree with you....Ritchie B was a good guitarist and he fit the band well. But when Steve Morse came along......man.....it really made a difference. He and Jon Lord worked well together.

One of my favorite ladies keyboard players.
This particular track reminds me of the Booker T Jones sound
