Leave No Trace - Debra Granik (2018) Mildly perplexed by the rave reviews. Also finally watched Infinity Wars to the end and now see error of my previous comment.

Also finally watched Infinity Wars to the end and now see error of my previous comment. It's okay. I understood what you were getting at. Not every film is for everyone. It's kind of like music. I'm glad Marvel is challenging us with this stuff, though I know some people who are quite upset at the outcome!

Blade Runner 2049 - Denis Villeneuve (2017) What did you think of this? I wasn't a huge huge fan of the original, but that's not to say I didn't like it. I did.

Colour me unabashed fanboy.
A worthy labour of love that equals, and in part surpasses the original in my opinion.
While the story took a couple of viewings to fully grasp, the cinematography and mechanics of the film are on a Kubrick level of excellence.
