I have a very rough version of Roll and Tumble blues going. Not good enough yet even to do a recording but it does give me hope! Also working on Little Red Rooster, Hoochie Coochie man, and I'm a Man. These are all pretty straightforwad I-IV-V songs which have that easy hook.

Dave, that stubborn streak got me through YEARS of not really "getting" harmonica. If the last few weeks are an indication I think I can muddle through this as well. I thank you for your encouragement along with the others here who have given me little nudges.

Yeah, but you know; We'd rather HEAR the progress, not just hear ABOUT it! Whitefang

That figures. I'm usually careful with that one myself. Popped too many in the past by assuming I knew what I was doing. But, we live and learn, eh? Whitefang

I just don't get that. You mean, there's nowhere, like for me, that's only a FIVE MINUTE OR LESS DRIVE where you can buy strings? Or even if it's a longer drive, it's still gotta be quicker than waiting for them through the "snail mail". Whitefang

Sure, we could go 30 miles for very little choice, or over an hour for more choice but not sure they have what I need. I got to talk to a guitar tech about what I actually needed to do what I'm doing. Free shipping too. Strings are here now!
